Palestinian Embroidery, or Tatreez تطريــز, is a traditional artistic form that is passed down from one generation to the next between mother and daughter. It is a centuries-old tradition that is now an integral part of Palestinian heritage and livelihood. Tatreez is used to tell personal stories, preserve Palestinian culture, further express Palestinian identity, and allows Palestinians to further connect with their historical roots, identity and land.
